On this edition of the weekly buff we have a beautiful 1966 Mustang GT Fastback one of only 1400 built in that year. It came to us needing to get paint correction, sanding, and ceramic coating done. The first thing that needed to be done as always is for a full decontamination wash with our EVO Shampoo, fresh washmits, mild claybar to remove anything abrasive on the paint finish. Once that was done Josh began the process of sanding the entire vehicle to remove many deep imperfections in the paint before starting with a rotary polisher to remove the deep sanding marks.
Once that was complete Josh had to follow up with a microfiber pad along with our EVO Heavy Cut to remove heavy scratches and follow that up with a foam pad and our 3000 finishing polish to leave the deepest gloss possible. The final step was to apply a full array of our EVO PRO Ceramic Coatings, EVO Glass Coating, EVO Wheel & Caliper, and EVO PRO Graphene on the entire paint finish all in two layers per coating.
