On this edition of the weekly buff we have, yet another Tesla model 3 performance in metallic white in shop, but this time it came in for a full nose PPF wrap to completely protect the appearance of the white metallic paint, Ceramic tint, and ceramic coating on every surface of the vehicle. The owners had seen us do a Black Model Y in the Matte look and said they wanted the same work quality to theirs.
We began as always with a full decontamination wash to remove anything that could prevent the PPF from tacking properly to the finish, and to remove anything abrasive on the paint finish. Once Jr and Lukus were done with the wash, Josh moved on to cutting the patterns out with the plotter to have most of it complete and ready to begin the application. Jr and Lukus did a quick 1 step polish to ensure the paint finish was perfect before PPF and ceramic coating. Josh began with the hood, and the fenders like a common PPF install, once he completed that he moved on to the bumper. The final peices were the mirrors and headlights as well as A pillars to ensure no rock chips would affect this vehicle.
The final outcome was accented by our EVO Pro Ceramic Coatings over the entire PPF finish, as well as the entire vehicle to make it easier to clean and withstand the Vegas sun.
