On this edition of the weekly buff we have, yet another Tesla model Y in black in shop, but this time it came in for full paint correction after the original shop that had “corrected it and ceramic coated it had to go over their work as they left heavy imperfections in the paint. The owners had seen us do a Black Model Y in another video and said they wanted the same thing done to theirs. We began as always with a full decontamination wash to remove anything that could prevent the final outcome from being as near perfect as possible. Once Jr and Josh completed that, they moved onto the correction process, they began with our EVO 800 Heavy cut and microfiber pads to remove the heavy marring and imperfections, then had a harder time finding the polishing combination, but landed on a black foam pad and our EVO 3000 finishing polish. Once they removed all the imperfections, they applied our EVO PRO Ceramic Coatings in two layers on the entire paint finish, as well as glass, plastic trim, and wheel face to protect every surface for years to come.
