On this edition of the weekly buff we have a beautiful BMW M4 competition that came in needing paint correction, and also got PPF and Ceramic Coating. The Competition package puts out 503Hp and 0-60mph in 3.5 seconds thats incredibly fast for a consumer sedan. This one came in a beautiful metallic blue, and it needed some paint correction before we could apply anything else to the vehicle.
As always the crew began with a full decontamination wash using our EVO Shampoo along with our Foam Cannon, The boys also used a green mild claybar to remove anything abrasive that may have been on the paint from transport and the first few hundred miles of driving. Once that was complete the crew began the paint correction process with our EVO 21 polishers along with the new polishing pads that have cut work time down almost in half. They used a microfiber and 2000 cut polish for their first step, and used our EVO white foam 100ppi pad along with our 3000 finishing polish to remove any haze left from the first step. We also had to use the heat lamps to ensure that some of the baked in water spots do not return.
Once they were done the paint was ready for Ceramic Coating. Nick and JR began the ceramic coating process. We applied our 5H Ceramic Coating which will provide 2 years of protection along with our Plastic Renew & Protect for all the plastic trim. Our EVO Wheel & Caliper Coating to protect the wheels from brake dust staining over time, as well as our EVO Glass Coating to ensure the entire vehicle is easy to maintain over time. Once everything was complete the owner was ready for pick up, and was beyond happy he ended up going with the coating after being hesitant at first.
