On this edition of the weekly buff we have another Porsche, but this time a beautiful Porsche 911 Turbo S in Shark Blue making it look more unique compared to most 911s. This vehicle starts at $216,000 Dollars and boasts 640Hp with a 0-60 in 2.6 seconds and a top speed of 205Mhp on track. The first thing we did when it arrived we made sure to perform a proper prep wash with our EVO Shampoo, along with fresh wash mits, and a green claybar to remove any metal particles or abrasive materials that may be embedded in the paint from daily driving and the elements like rain, and the harsh Vegas sun.
Once it was done we performed a simple 1 step polish process to remove any light scratches or marring left in the paint from the factory, which happens more often that one would think even with cars that can cost upwards of $200,000. We used an orange finishing pad along with our EVO 3000 Finishing polish to leave the finish looking like glass.
With the paint finish looking flawless we moved onto Max and started installing a full body PPF. The owner knew he was going to be driving this car often and wanted to maximize the protection we could provide. PPF will protect against rock chips, sun damage, permanent water spots after rain, and many other obstacles that you find every day while driving. It took Max two days to finish the entire install, and He had to custom cut plenty of panels by hand so that they would fit as perfectly as possible and to the naked eye you cant tell anything is on this vehicle.
The final step of the process was to apply a full array of our Ceramic Coatings providing protection for years to come. We applied our EVO Vinyl & PPF Coating to the entire vehicle to prevent the PPF glue from yellowing, and adding an additional layer of gloss protection along with hydrophobic properties allowing it to stay clean longer. We also applied our EVO Plastic Renew & Protect to any plastic trim in the frunk and bumper portions of the vehicle. The wheel were protected with our EVO Wheel & Caliper Coating to make them easier to clean and prevent brake dust from sticking for up to a year from install.
The owner loved the final results and we couldn’t be happier with how we delivered the vehicle.
