On this edition of the weekly buff we have a 2019 challenger hellcat in black that was brought initially to us for paint correction, and ceramic coating, but after showing the owner the quality of install we do for PPF they opted for full bumper PPF as well. Once we came to a deal they left us the keys and we got started right away.
The first step as always was a full decontamination wash from the crew that begins with our EVO PRO Shampoo, fresh wash mits for each vehicle in shop as well as a full claybar decon to remove anything abrasive that may have been on the paint from previous driving. Once that was complete the crew began the paint correction process. They began with a 800 heavy cut and a wool pad, then moved on to 2000 cut polish with a microfiber pad, and finally a finishing step of our EVO 3000 Finishing polish and a foam pad.
Once the paint correction was complete Jon began the bumper PPF install. He had cut the patterns and began install immediately. Once he completed the bumper He quickly finished the headlights as well. Once everything was completed we began with our EVO PRO ceramic coating on the entire finish as well as the PPF. We used our EVO PRO Wheel & Caliper coating on the new calipers as well as the face and barrel of the wheels. Our Plastic Renew & Protect on all the Trim to preserve it in the Vegas sun.
When the owner picked up their baby they loved it. It looked brand new and they couldn’t believe it.
