On this edition of the weekly buff we have another orange C8 Z06 corvette owned by a new customer that initially came to see if we could protect his new vehicle, with PPF and coating. Once we went over it and made a plan we got to work. Even though it was new in the video you can see it needed paint correction as there were swirls scratches, and other imperfection with only 75 miles on it.
The first step was for Lukus and JR to perform a two step correction with our EVO 800 heavy cut and EVO 3000 cut finishing polish, and microfiber pads blue / orange foam pads leaving the finish flawless with no imperfections anywhere. Leaving the finish ready for Josh and Jon to begin the PPF process and protect it from rock chips and scratches.
Jon had pre-cut some of the patterns, but as usual decided its better to hand cut some portions for a perfect fit with no visible seems anywhere. Every detail down to each individual black piece in the grill got protected with PPF. Our PPF installs are backed by not only manufacturer warranty, but we will replace any panel that has a ding in the film and damages the paint underneath with new film. The final cherry on top was our EVO PRO Ceramic Coating to protect it from UV damage, water spots, light scratches all while providing amazing gloss. This also prevents the PPF glue from oxidizing and turning yellow overtime.
