On this edition of the weekly buff we have a beautiful 2025 Hummer EV that came in for full paint correction and Ceramic Coating. This brand new hummer looks amazing and weighs over 10k pounds, and does 0-60 in 3 seconds which is great for a vehicle that weighs that much. It also has a crazy crab crawling mode that will allow it to move at an angle out of tight spots.
The first thing we did as always is a is a full decontamination wash with our EVO Pro Shampoo, a foam cannon, as well as our Wheel Gel, Gloss IT APC, and a green mild claybar to remove anything abrasive that may add damage to the paint finish. once the decon was done we moved on to starting the Paint correction process, first we used our EVO microfiber pad along with our EVO Heavy Cut polish that we´ve been working on for a couple of years to make perfect it will be released to the public. This step will remove the deep imperfections but may leave some light haze behind called marring which is what the next polishing step will remove. The crew uses a foam pad along with our EVO 3000 finishing polish leaving a perfect finish ready for ceramic coating to be applied.
The final step was to apply 2 layers of our EVO PRO Coatings to the entire body, the paint finish, the glass, the wheels, and any plastic trim that is on the Hummer. Once it was complete and the customer picked up he couldn’t believe how good it looked better than he picked it up from the dealer and he won it for free…
