On this weekly buff we have a beautiful 1991 Acura NSX in its original black paint finish. This mid engine naturally aspirated V6 puts out 270Hp, maxing out at 168mph, and is rather reliable for a thirty plus year old car. The customer brought it to us in hopes of restoring the paint as best we could as it was one of his dream cars to own, and wanted to do it proper justice. Once He saw what we were working on in the shop we came to a deal and started working on it right away.
As you can see in the video the paint on this NSX had seen better days, but considering its been on the road and seen the sun for thirty years it wasn’t in the worst shape we had seen. Josh began first by performing a heavy cutting step with our new EVO 800 heavy cut along with a maroon microfiber pad to remove deep scratches and imperfections, but sometimes leaves a bit of haze behind. Once Josh was done with the heavy cutting, he moved on to the polishing step with our EVO 3000 finishing polish and a blue foam pad to bring out the deep gloss in the paint finish before we apply any ceramic coating. The customer was excited when the vehicle was ready and loved the outcome of the correction and ceramic coating, schedule your vehicle with us today at GIDETAIL.COM
