On this edition of the weekly buff we have a beautiful Black F150 in for correction coating. It had been lifted, and has better wheels and tires, but it definitely needed some love and attention on the paint that had severe swirls and scratches from off roading the owners had done in the past. The first thing we did as always with any vehicle was a full decontamination wash with our EVO Pro Shampoo as well as a mild blue clay bar to remove anything abrasive that may add more damage when we begin paint correction. Once the full wash was complete Jr and Josh began the paint correction process with our EVO 800 Heavy Cut polish along with our EVO Wool pad to remove the heavy scratches and wear from years of driving as well as off roading. They moved on to the second step which was to use a mild microfiber pad along with our EVO 3000 finishing polish to remove any haze and swirls left from the 800 heavy cut. Once the paint correction was complete Josh made sure to double check the guys work as well as make sure everything was ready for ceramic coating. The next and final step in the project was to give it a final wash between correction steps, and coating to ensure there was no residue from the polishes left on the paint.
We used our EVO Graphene Ceramic Coating to give the paint 5 years of protection from UV damage, as well as protect it against permanent staining from water spots, tree sap, bug, bird droppings. We also used our EVO Wheel & Caliper coating to ensure the wheels are easier to clean and protected from break dust staining for years to come. We used our EVO Glass Coating to make the glass easier to clean as well as prevent permanent water spots on the vehicle. The final coating we used was our EVO Plastic Renew & Protect for years of life added to the black trim that had been in the Vegas sun for some time and was looking lack luster to say the least.
Once we completed the vehicle we knew the owner would love the outcome. It looked like a brand new truck that rolled off the assembly line.
