On this edition of the weekly buff we are featuring a Black GT500 who’s owner brought it all the way from Houston for paint correction, Ceramic Coating, and Custom Vinyl racing stripe installed by our good friend WJackCustoms from Las Vegas.
Josh, and JR got started as soon as it arrived in shop by first as always washing the vehicle with our EVO Pro Shampoo, and Foam Cannon, then moved on to using a mild green clay bar to remove all the fallout and debris that could be sticking to the paint from everyday driving. This will ensure that when they begin the paint correction process that any and all unnecessary marks never happen to begin with.
Once the vehicle was ready and prepped, Josh and JR found the perfect pad and product combination to remove the imperfections that were in the paint from driving throughout the years. They first started with our EVO 800 Heavy Cut polish along with our Wool pad to get heavy marks out, but this leaves marring from the pad. Therefore the next step was to use EVO 2000 Finishing polish along with a foam pad to get the paint looking perfert just like the day it rolled off the showroom floor.
Maxwell our in house PPF Master got to work on applying film to the bumbper, fenders, and hood to ensure for years to come that nothing will damage the paint as long as the film holds up. Maxwells techniques take time, but the way the film is applied and rolled to ensure that not a single seem is visible to the naked eye is amazing. Once that step was complete our Vinyl Master Q WJackCustoms did his thing with the matte black with red pin striping from front to back.
When the owner came to pick up his vehicle he somewhat knew what to expect because our team had kept him updated on the progress, but the Vinyl stripes left him speechless. Attention to detail is what we do best at Gloss IT Las Vegas, and each one of our customers has individual needs for their vehicle that we exceed time and time again.
